I used to live In Hawaii and being in the south this is the closest place I found. Food is reasonably priced and food is well worth the wait :D
Very good. I had the teriyaki chicken with the rice and kimchi. Spectacular. Everything was made perfectly and on the spot. The service was wonderful as well.
Best Hawaiian BBQ I have had in many years! Can't wait to get back to Augusta again! Thank you! ♥
I was passing through on a road trip and the food was great! Had the hungry Hawaiian and the garlic chicken and they were both so good. The sides were really good as well. The service was pleasant and while the food took some time I can totally understand its a small and I assume family run business and I can really appreciate that. If I am ever back in town I'd totally come back here :)
They have great food & I love Hawaii.
Great food. Had the BBQ bowl with chicken and Beef teriyaki. Delicious. Only thing about the restaurant itself was the fans and air ducts were caked with dust. Could definitely use a little cleaning.
First-time visit for dinner, really enjoyed the food.you order at the counter and return to your table and wait for it to come out. Waitress service did refill drinks. All in all, pretty good value for the money.
Amazing food not to big portions but great prices
Came with a friend yesterday and ordered 1/2 lb of the spicy poke and oh man, did it have a kick. It was good. I don't remember it being that spicy the last time I was in. I got the mini beef teriyaki plate with rice and macaroni salad and it was the perfect size. The beef was delicious and I'd have a hard time not getting that again. I even loved the macaroni salad which tends to be forgettable more times than not.
This was my 1st experience with Hawaiian food and it was AMAZING! I had to come back the following week to eat there again. They are even going to cater our wedding. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!
Very good. The garlic chicken and the bbq was soooo good.
I liked the atmosphere. I never visited Hawaii but I felt like I was in Hawaii. Staff was friendly and quick. You order food at the register and sit down where ever you want. I ordered chicken katsu, BBQ combo and spam musubi. Spam musubi was amazing. I had spam musubi from other restaurants before and this restaurant is far the best. Chicken katsu was okay. It wasn't really juicy and sauce wasn't flavorful. BBQ combo was good but portion was smaller than my expectation. I think it is little overpriced compared to portion. Overall I liked it.
A unique local joint that you NEED to go to before it gets on everyone's radar. Fantastic family owned/run joint with great food and wonderful service. Damn near too good for Augusta, a diamond in the rough for sure.
I had the Hawaiian BBQ chicken with potato salad, macaroni salad, and sweet rolls. Everything was amazing! I will definitely be back to try the garlic chicken.
This food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. I've never had such a better experience at a restaurant. I mean if u haven't eaten here u are definitely missing out. Simply delicious.
This place is AMAZING. You will not be disappointed. They are the nicest people and the food is so delicious. I ordered the salad with Shrimp and it was mouth-watering. Big pieces of shrimp and it was cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this place for sure.
Delicious food! Excellent service! This family-run restaurant is the bomb! I had the Hawaiian style chicken and it really was flame kissed like it had been outside on the BBQ grill. Hubby had the Pulehu beef which was tender and juicy. We will be back to try the other delicious looking menu items.
The food is fresh and delicious. The lumpia is awesome. The potato salad is smooth amd creamy. The pork is just right. The Service is great. I recommend 100%
The portions are huge, so be prepared for leftovers. The Hawaiian BBQ chicken is outstanding. The garlic and katsu shrimp are both amazing (the breading on the katsu is perfect). The macaroni salad is some of the best I've ever had. The potato salad is good. The cabbage kim chi has some heat but doesn't take away from the flavor. I wish there were more locations.
The food was simply fresh and so good!
My food was awesome & prepared with Aloha! If i were close this restaurant would be an awesome go too for catering! Good job Hawaiian Style BBQ!
A great place to get a plate lunch.
Sooo happy that I found this place. Unlike any other restaurant in the area. This place is a hidden gem and the closest that you’ll get to Hawaii in the South. Chill vibes, friendly staff, and excellent food. True Hawaiian hospitality! 🌴🌺🌊 Venture out and try something NEW peeps! Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed 😁
Was really good. Got my loco moco fix in!! Took me back to the islands. Good to see a family business thriving!! It took me several tries to get there but today was the fated day!!!
Absolutely fantastic food! The prices are great and the service is superior! One of our favorite places in the CSRA.
The food was great! I had the garlic shrimp, and Hawaiian chicken with macaroni salad as a side. The chicken was great, not a lot of fat and gristle like at some places. The shrimp was really heavy on the garlic which I liked, but if you don't really like garlic it might be too much. The macaroni salad was asking too. We will definitely be going back.
This restaurant is so yummy. I had the Hawaiian bbq chicken and it was very good. The atmosphere is nice and the staff are very welcoming and nice.
Classic restaurant that opened my eyes to the world of short ribs, 5/5 great food that always tastes great. Definitely not something you get to enjoy much around here, I recommend trying this place out
Great food and atmospheric Hawaii culture. The only downside is the restaurant is so empty there is an echo.
Great food. Safe and filled with Aloha. Close to a Hawaiian food taste away from the Islands
The garlic chicken was sooo ono!
The food was pretty good. The customer service was excellent. Great atmosphere. Sat inside and enjoyed my food with my husband.
Great food. Unique taste, and the best bar-b-que. Try it. You will not be disappointed.
This place is what it name says. It's Hawaiian food in BBQ style. Definitely one of my top 10 places to go and eat.
I have been here so many times since I first discovered it two years ago! They have the same warm, friendly staff who are beyond professional. The food is authentic and WONDERFUL! You must try the garlic chicken (OK, my personal favorite)! Don't let the "BBQ" in the name fool you - the options are diverse. My Mom has asked for special items as sides since she is dieting, and they made them for her at no extra charge. They will do events for your group and come to you to cater. They do dine in and carry out. I just love this family owned business and cannot say enough good things about their food! Pictured is a friend of mine, Mary (right) with Lehua, who works there.
Awesome food. The BBQ chicken was awesome and the staff were really friendly. Great for children too.
Food was great. Loved the BBQ and the Garlic chicken. Potato salad and macaroni salad was homemade too. Very very good. Very clean even though they were in an old building. Will definitely go back.
Fantastic. Great, friendly service and delicious food for a fair price. Don't overlook their Korean, either--the galbi and kimchi are fantastic. Will definitely be back.
Awesome Ohana! Nutn but Love in dat cookin! Rather u take out or dine in, Its always a pleasure!
Haven't had a bad meal here yet and I've tried most of the menu. It's all good, from the poke to the Kahlua pork. I also enjoy trying their different canner juices and teas. They're very friendly as well. Definitely worth the trip.
The employees were helpful. The atmosphere was alright - I could get used to it thanks to the decorations. The food that I tried (Hawaiian Grilled Chicken and Chicken Katsu) were good, but not impressive enough for me. Probably because of the small selections of sides available. There were six sides.I'll try again the next time I go there. Though I will avoid the barbeque menu because people are saying that it contains too much salt.
This place gets pretty busy at lunch time if you want to go to a dinner you'll probably feel like you're getting better service but no matter when you get to go the food is terrific and not really like anything else you're going to find in Augusta. My only complaint is these people take good care of themselves and they take some days off so you might have to have a plan B option sometimes but 4 great food Hawaiian BBQ is a good plan A
The people were friendly and the food was amazing!!! Love the trip to memory lane. Love me some Hawaiian food 😋
The food and the atmosphere was amazing! I got the Hawaiian BBQ special and was not disappointed at all. I would recommend to anyone in the Augusta area
I hate giving bad reviews but this food was so below average.Service was friendly!I had chicken katsu and garlic shrimp. The chicken looked like it was fried fried then cut then frozen before being refried to serve. The texture was rubbery and tough. The shrimps were not cleaned and had a grainy texture. The katsu sauce was thick and probably came out of the jar that I buy it for my own home at the grocery store. Overall a sad dissapointment and I was SOOO excited to eat here. Even if this was just an off-day as I see many good reviews, I wouldn't come back and risk another $16.
Why is this parking lot not full? Affordable delicious food, cool Hawaiian drinks, and super friendly and cute staff.
The food is wonderful!! I ordered the Hawaiian BBQ chicken w/ potato salad, rice & a garden salad. The chicken had the right amount of char for amazing flavor and the potato salad was some of the best I've ever had! Do yourself a favor and check this place out.
Great authentic food. Helpful service. Try the Loco Moco and Hawaiian BBQ!
They have a very expansive menu of varied items, which may actually be a hindrance instead of a positive. The food ranged from simply ok to above average, but nothing really stood out to me as being excellent. I had ordered the chicken katsu and it was mega dry and not at all like i expected. The poke bowl was authentic and good and the other items were okay, but overall i left unfulfilled. It would take a lot to convince me to come back.
The food was very good. Not bad for the price. Service was a little lacking. You order your food at the counter, they bring it to you, then we never saw another person after that. Didn't come to check on whether our food was as ordered or anything. No refills. I guess you can get your own, but for the prices here, wait staff should be available.
